Daily Routines!

Everyday we have a bath or a shower and like dressing up as eskimos in our towels. We love running around the house 'rudey tudey' and making our Mum/Dad chase us before we get dressed.
Ari still has a day sleep, and even though I am a big boy now, sometimes I have to have one after a late night, otherwise I get very grumpy. I still have my sheepy and Ari still loves her thumb.

Coffee Group Friends

In November, we celebrated our Coffee Group party at Whangarata Zoo. All my friends also turned four, we had a yummy chocolate 4 cake. Me and Ari, liked the elephant and monkeys the best.
We all go to different kindys, but still have fun when we meet up and play. Especially now that everyone has a little brother or sister.

Kaipara CannonBall Express

In September, we went on a day trip from Ellerslie to Helensville on an old Steam Train. It was soo much fun, because I still love trains.
The whistle, was so loud and lots of steam! I got to have a look in the drivers cab.
We had lunch at Helensville, and their was an old steam engine I got to play on.
It was so cool going on a long train ride through the countryside, I cant wait to go on a trip to Wellington, - mum says when I'm a bit older!

Papas Ship - New Plymouth

Last week we went and visited Papa's ship where he works in New Plymouth. We had awesome weather and had a fantastic time. Papa showed us all around his ship, where he sleeps, eats and fixes the big noisy engines. It is soo big and we had to go down lots of small stairs on 3 different levels. We met some of his friends he works with, and watched other ships and cranes working at the Port.
He also took us on lots of 'tiki tours' pointing out all the sights of new plymouth.
We hired a funny bike, mum and dad peddaled us on some of the Coastal Pathway that is very pretty alongside the beach. At night we went to the cool light show at Pukeora Park, and the next day we hired a little boat and dad rowed around the lake. Although, I was a little scared, Ari was brave and sat by herself. Their was so much to do, and we promised Papa we would be back next summer to visit again.

Christmas 2010

Ari & I had a fantastic Xmas and got very spoilt from Santa and our whanau. I got up really early, but had to wait for Ari who woke up an hour later, before I could open the presents under the tree and in my stocking. Santa gave me a new learning laptop and lots of toys and clothes. Ari got a new bike and kitchen playset, and lots of dora clothes.
Then after eating chocolate for breakfast, we went to Porpor and Papa's house and got more presents. This is a picture of me on my new plasma bike, which even adults can ride. Ari got a dora bag, more dolls and a cute pram to push them in.
We then went up to dads whanau for xmas lunch and got more presents. We had fun playing with our cousins, eating yummy food and listening to the cook island band. I already cant wait until next Christmas!

Tana Turns 4!

I am now 4 Years Old. I had a great party with four of my friends, Tommy, Katie, Leah and Mathew.
Mum made my James cake and we had a small party at home.
We had so much fun playing party games, eating yummy food, and playing with my new toys.
I got lots of cool presents, Tommy train things and other cool toys.

Lim Whanau Reunion

In October we had our 2nd Lim Whanau Reunion at Port Waikato. It was an awesome weekend playing with all my cousins.
Their is 126 relations altogether and in one year their were 9 great grandchildren born, 8 girls and one boy. Ari was one of them, and here is a photo of the 7 of them who were present with Nanny their Great Grandmother, who is 88 years old.

Isobels 1st Birthday

At the end of August my friend Isobel Mckenzie turned one. I wore my fairy wings and she was a princess. Tana was sick, so stayed home with dad and me and Mum went to the party. I really liked eating all the party food, especially the lollies. We had a great afternoon, although at the end I was a little sick from all the party food.

Play & Kai Time

Most of the time Ari and I play well. we like going outside now at our new place and play on our bikes. Although sometimes I get angry when she takes my tommy trains, but now she likes playing with her dolls and I'm teaching her all the trains names. Ari is talking lots now and is always chatting to us.

Aunty Shanshees 30th Party

At the start of May we went down to Whangamata to celebrate Aunty Shanshees 30th Birthday. It was a real fun night, especially because we had to dress up. The theme was 'around the world' and I wore my chinese outfit, Mum and Dad went as Indians & Ari wore her poncho so a little mexican.
This is a pic of us showing Aunty Dud our cook island dance moves. My chatterbox mum was too busy talking and didnt take any photos of me with the birthday girl, cant wait for the next party.

New Whare at Prospect Tce

At the end of April we moved into our new house in Prospect Tce. Everything is brand new and mum always reminds me to be very careful. Me and Ari like riding our bikes on the deck and eating our favourite ice cream on our table & chairs. Another thing we like to do is look out the front windows when people come down our driveway. Our hand prints are already covering all the windows. My room has a cool bright blue wall and Ari has bird stickers on her wall. We all love our new whare!

Bikeathon at St James Kindy

My Kindy is called 'St James Kidsway' and we had a Bikeathon to raise money for a new pirate ship for our playground. I had to do as many laps as I could in 20 minutes. Lots of kids stopped, but I kept going right to the end. Mum, Dad, Ari & PorPor cheered for me on the side and gave me a drink of water when I ran out of steam. Dad painted and did my 'bike up' so now I call it 'thomas' because I still love Tommy Trains. I did 14 laps in total & had such a great time. When it had finished we went and had Mcdonalds for a special treat for tea for biking my hardest.

Band Practice

Here we are having Band Practice with Dad. I like playing my little guitar and singing Thomas songs. Ari plays the drums and likes 'twinkle twinkle little star.' Sometimes I get to go with dad to his band practice which is lots of fun with the KBB boys.

Easter Time! Yum Yum!!

We looooooove Easter Time because we can eat Chocolate all day! We spent Easter Weekend with Aunty Mere, Rosie and Taeno at their house and had lots of easter egg hunts. Mum was away in TeAnau at Ariana's & Glenns Wedding, it was the first time she had left Ari, we werent sad but I think she was. Easter Bunny had also left us lots of treats in Ari's cot at PorPor's and we had lots of fun finding & eating them!

Bulgy & Thomas at Glenbrook Railways

It was Thomas Day again at Glenbrook Railways. We had so much fun going for a ride on the big train through the countryside. Me and Ari liked hanging out the window and listening to the loud whistle & watching all the smoke from the engine. This time Bulgy the Bus was also having rides. We sat at the top at the front and liked looking out the windows. Their was lots of people, so luckily Ari was in the backpack and once again sucking her thumb!
