Thomas & Friends

Last weekend, Mum, Dad and I went out to Glenbrook Train Station. It was a special weekend because the Thomas trains were visiting. We went for a long train ride through the country, and I liked hanging out the window and hearing the loud steam engine go 'choo choo.' I also liked going for a ride on Thomas and playing on all his friends especially little Rusty.
It was really busy with lots of mums, dads and kids I was glad we were there early and went on the first ride before all the people started arriving.
I now like playing with my trains and making the noise 'choo choo' and make Mum read me Thomas books over and over again. I hope I can go on another train ride soon.

Im 2!

Last Sunday it was my 2nd Birthday and I had a great day. I had a small bbq party with Porpor, Aunty Shanley, Marge, baby george, Raewyn & Amelie, Auntie Rosie, Patano & Uncle Maarta and Uncle Toks and Tueheau. Of course Porpor made my yellow cake and me and Amelie had fun blowing out the wiggles candles and licking all the icing. We also liked eating all the yummy party food and bouncing on the tramp.
My other favourite part was opening all the presents, now that I am a big boy I can do it all by myself. I got lots of cool presents like clothes, books, rugby ball, togs, my own chair and a little tricycle. I cant wait until my next party.

Rotorua

In the school holidays, Mum, Dad and I went to Rotorua for a holiday. We stayed in a really nice hotel with a cool hot pool and went for lots of swims. I liked playing in the elevators and eating lots of yummy food. Even though it rained lots, we went to the park, mud pools and I liked putting my toes in the hot water.

Spring Lambs

Porpor let me hold one of our new little lambys. She was really friendly and I
gave her lots of cuddles. Ive been playing outside lots lately because it is getting warmer. I really like bouncing on the tramp and throwing all my balls everywhere for mum and dad to pick up.

Farm Trip

Aunty Rochelle was back home visiting from London. Mum, Aunty Shanley and I had a farm trip to Te Aroha. We had a yummy lunch and then walked down to see all the animals. I really liked jumping in all the puddles and getting all wet. The cute piglets were only 4 days old and liked keeping warm under the light. We then watched the calves being fed their milk, I was a bit scared of them when they were trying to lick my fingers so I watched Aunty Rochelle. We cant wait until she comes home again so we can have another fun farm trip.

Auckland Zoo

Mum and Dad took to me to see all my favourite animals at the Auckland Zoo. We had an awesome day walking around looking at them, and for once it was nice and sunny. I really liked the elephants and monkeys but I didnt hear them make much noises.
At the end of the day me and dad, sat down, had a rest, ate our favourite ice creams and watched all the people walk by.

Aunty Shanley

Aunty Shanley came and visited us on Sunday. We had lots of fun playing with all the toys and reading my favourite books.
I liked telling her lots of stories and all my new words like "car, more, apple and cheese" and showing her my wiggles dances.
I cant wait to go and visit her house next weekend, and play in her new kitchen.

Ducks!

My new word this week is 'Ducks.' Most days Mum takes me down to feed them and I am getting good at throwing the bread. I like watching them swim and splash in the water and coming up close to get the bread. I cant say 'quack quack' yet, and I also like calling all the birds I see 'ducks.'

Miranda Hot Pools

This was my first Hot Pool Swim at Miranda. Mum, Dad, Uncle Oki, Aunty Anita, and cousins Jaz, Teps, Jayden and Kayla went. I stayed in the water for ages, because it was so warm. But I also like scaring mum and dad by running up and down the side of the pool.
Me and Jayden had the same togs on that day and our dads kept making us laugh lots with their silly faces and funny stories.

Franklin Zoo

On Saturday Mum, Dad and I went to the Franklin Zoo in Whangarata. It was soo much fun feeding the ducks and birds and then chasing after them.
My favourite animal at the moment is Monkeys, so I sat and watched them for ages climbing and jumping all over the cage and ropes. I like making the 'ooohhh....aahhh' noise like them, and doing the Monkey Dance, like the wiggles.

My First Gumboots

Now that it is winter, I love wearing my new 'Wiggles' Boots outside. It took me a while to get used to walking in them, but now I like to run and jump in all the puddles.
I chose them from the shop, because they have a picture of my favourite TV Programme 'The Wiggles.'
They also keep my feet nice and warm when I help feed the chickens and lambies, and help Papa in his shed.

Cousins

Lately it has been sooo much fun because we have had lots of whanau visiting. I got to meet my Aunty Frances, Jess, Lizzie, Uncle Grant and cousins Xavier, Maya & Connor from Perth. Xavier is still here and so we have been playing lots, he showed me how to ride my motorbike. Louey is my other little cousin who is only 8 weeks old and lives in the South Island. He was a bit sleepy when he stopped in, but I cant wait until we are bigger so we can play together like our mums did.

My First Barber Haircut

Here I am at the Barbers in Pukekohe having my first haircut. The lady gave me a number 4 all over so now all my long hair is gone. It was also the first time I had tried a lollipop.
At the start I liked getting it cut, but towards the end I was all sticky with hair, and I got restless and started crying and pulling funny faces to mum and dada.
The best thing now is that it doesnt hurt when Dada brushes it. I hope I get another lollipop soon.

Butterfly Creek

Dada, Mum and I had a great day at Butterfly creek. I liked chasing all the butterflies and looking at their pretty colours. Mum couldnt keep up with me, so she didnt get any nice photos. But she could when we went outside and fed the friendly farm animals. I wasn't scared of the big fluffy goats and I really liked touching the fluffy rabbits and giving them kisses.

Me & Jayde

Last week I finally got to meet my cousin Jayde who was visiting from Australia. Mum and my Aunty Kaye had great time catching up and all they did was talk and laugh. Jayde is a few months younger than me and has just started crawling. She liked playing with me and touching my hair, but I'm not too sure about girls?? so I kept walking away from her. Mum said next time she visits we will be running around, playing and talking lots.

Kia Orana

Mum took lots and lots of photos so heres some more of me with whanau in Raro.
We went for lots of drives in our little car, but even more fun was going for rides with dad on the motorbike at Aunty Triplet & Uncle Gordons.
I also liked eating all the yummy fish and Taro, I cant wait to go back again.

Rarotonga

We had a great time in Rarotonga, especially at Auntie Rosie & Uncle Maarta wedding.
It was really hot so I went for lots of swims with my cousins and uncles at the beach. I really liked going out deep with dad and eating the sand.
I loved meeting lots of new Greig whanau and learnt how to 'blow kiss' and Dad taught me how to be cheeky and poke out my tongue.
